GK Foundry Open House

GENERAL KINEMATICS TO HOST OPEN HOUSE FOR THE FOUNDRY INDUSTRY

General Kinematics is pleased to announce our Foundry Open House in October to thank the industry for helping us become a worldwide leader in vibratory process equipment, and to showcase the latest foundry equipment we are manufacturing.

Happening October 7th, 2014 at the GK Headquarters in Crystal Lake, the Open House will be a chance for VIP access to see behind the scenes of R&D and manufacturing at GK. Several brand new foundry units will be on display and the event will include tours, a presentation by GK’s Foundry Industry Manager, Claude Hutchens, refreshments and more. GK equipment on display will include:

    • A Shakeout with 200 MTPH capacity
    • The GK VIBRA-DRUM® , sized to blend the castings and sand with its continually controlled vibratory motion
    • Spiral Cooler that gently conveys castings up an incline 3 to 4 degrees
    • Mold dump and sand return conveyors
    • And other vibratory equipment!

RSVP is required. We look forward to seeing you in person!

Schedule of Events…

– Please wear closed toe shoes.

– Tours will occur throughout the day. (NOTE: No need to RSVP to one specific time slot, just be sure to plan on these times for arrival/departure.)

10:00am – 11:00am Morning Session

1:00pm – 2:00pm Midday Session

4:00pm – 5:00pm Afternoon Session

Thank you again to those who stopped by and checked out the latest happenings at General Kinematics. We had an amazing event with over 200 people visiting throughout the day! Many did not realize all that GK has to offer and learned a lot. Thank you!
