General Kinematics Extreme-Duty Ductile Stabilizers / Rocker Legs
GK’s patented ductile stabilizers / rocker legs use the same great design concept as our premium aluminum stabilizer / rocker legs, but are cast in abrasion resistant ductile iron. General Kinematics all-new patented severe-duty ductile stabilizer legs are the strongest legs available on the market. Using proven I-Beam construction, GK ductile legs eliminate vertical and horizontal deflection found in other brands of stabilizers for maximum strength in the most demanding applications.
When to change to ductile iron stabilizers
Do you have an application where your machine is exposed to sand filled pits, chemicals, and other environmental conditions that can occasionally present a challenge to non-ferrous alloys such as aluminum? For those rare cases where this occurs, GK now offers our all new ductile iron stabilizers / rocker legs for GK or other brands of vibratory equipment. GK Parts specialists will work with you to provide the optimum leg design and the engineering information to help you install and retune your machine to ensure it continues to operate according to the original design.
What to know before you change to ductile iron stabilizers
Due to increased weight, GK ductile iron stabilizers are recommended for only the most difficult environments and running conditions. When switching to ductile stabilizers, please consult General Kinematics service department for information on re-tuning and re-calibration of your unit, as these legs will alter the performance characteristics of your machine. For all other applications, please refer to our aluminum stabilizer legs. Contact a GK component parts specialist to discuss your specific application.
GK Ductile Stabilizers / Rocker Legs:
